Newsletters with RSS

Many newsletters publish RSS feeds alongside email:

Newsletter RSS Feed
Benedict Evans https://www.ben-evans.com/benedictevans?format=rss
Platformer https://www.platformer.news/rss/
Garbage Day https://www.garbageday.email/feed

Substack Newsletters

Every Substack has an RSS feed at: https://NEWSLETTER.substack.com/feed

For example:

  • https://www.platformer.news/feed

How to Find More Feeds

1. Check Website Footers

Many sites link to their RSS feed in the footer, often with an orange RSS icon.

2. Try Common URLs

Add these to any website:

  • /feed
  • /rss
  • /feed.xml
  • /atom.xml

Building a Good Feed Collection

Quality Over Quantity

More feeds doesn’t mean better. A focused collection of 20-30 quality sources beats hundreds of mediocre ones.

Organize with Folders

Group feeds into categories that make sense for you:

  • News (daily check)
  • Blogs (weekly read)
  • YouTube (entertainment)
  • Tech (work-related)

Prune Regularly

If you consistently skip a source, unsubscribe. Your feed should energize you, not overwhelm you.

Mix Timely and Timeless

Balance news (relevant now) with evergreen content (valuable anytime). Too much news creates anxiety; too much evergreen feels disconnected.
